Still Life – Pastel (55 x 45 cm) glass framed
This painting is of King Proteas in a glass vase. We sometimes take for granted our most wonderful fynbos biome. Painting an object requires intense observation and accurate interpretation. I hope the protea will forgive my limitations.
I am an architect by profession but have always been an artist by inclination. I work in oils, pastels, ink and charcoal. I am now able to spend more time on my artistic pursuits painting for my own pleasure as well as the occasional commission.
