Ormonde Wine Estate – a Winery in the Rolling Hills of Darling
The Ormonde Wine Estate is located on the western coast of South Africa among the rolling hills of Darling. There are molten rocks that cover the Atlantic Ocean, and as the fog rolls to the base of the hills the perfect moisture and coolness for the vineyards settle in. The Cape Floral Kingdom has the richest plant species in the world and has almost 600 unique species flowering every year. Their wines are rich in quality and represent the qualities and features of their region.

The winemakers at Ormonde Wine Estate try to make wines with minimal intervention to preserve the natural taste and aroma of their grapes.
